Your first day: the setup checklist
A new system is overwhelming because everything looks equally urgent. It is not. There are eight things that matter on day one, and the dashboard keeps score so you can stop wondering what is left.
Your store and your receipt
Name, address, phone, tax mode — and your logo, so what you hand the customer looks like your shop and not like a blank slip. These two are the ones you notice immediately if you skip them.
Get some inventory in
You do not need your whole stock on day one. Load the parts you actually turn over — the screens and batteries for the four or five models that are most of your work.
Connect what you buy from
If you buy from MobileSentrix, connecting it means orders come in by themselves, with costs and photos. It saves the most typing of anything on this list.
Take one repair all the way through
Intake, part, price, collect, deliver. Do it with a real device — the whole system makes sense after one complete pass, and no amount of reading replaces it.
Set up how you get paid
Your payment methods, and your card terminal if you use one. Better to find out it needs a setting now than with a customer waiting at the counter.
Add your people
Each employee with their own access. Not for control — so that when something is wrong you know who to ask, and so nobody is sharing your password.
Connect WhatsApp
It is what turns status updates and receipts into something that leaves the system by itself instead of somebody typing them from their own phone.
