Move your data from another POS

The reason shops stay on a system they dislike is the thought of retyping four thousand customers. You do not have to. Whatever your old system exports, the AI reads it — even if the columns are named nothing like ours.

  1. Export whatever your old system gives you

A CSV or Excel of customers, or of inventory. Do not clean it up or rename anything first — that work is exactly what you are about to skip.

  2. Paste it or upload it

You can upload the file or literally paste the rows in, as long as the first line is the headers.

  3. Let the AI map the columns

Hit Analyse with AI. It works out that "Client Name" is the name, that "Cell" is the phone, that "Qty on hand" is the quantity. You check its work rather than doing it.

  4. Fix anything it got wrong

The mapping is shown field by field and you can change any of it. Required fields are marked — until those are matched, the import will not run.

  5. Check the preview, then import

You see the valid rows before anything is written. Read a few — if the first three look right, the other four thousand almost certainly are too.

Phone numbers get cleaned on the way in They are normalised as they import, so the same customer does not end up as three because the old system stored the number three different ways.
