Bench Mode

Bench Mode for technicians

The technician does not need reports, pricing or marketing. They need the queue, the device in their hand, and a button big enough to press without taking a glove off.

  1. Open the queue of what is in the shop

One list: the devices physically in the shop right now. Search by device or by customer if the pile is deep.

  2. Pick a device and work it

Everything about that repair fits on one screen. No tabs, no scrolling to find the status — the whole point is not having to hunt while you are holding a phone in the other hand.

  3. Change the status with one press

In process, waiting, ready, not repairable — big buttons, no dropdowns. The front counter sees the change immediately, which means fewer walks to the back to ask.

  4. Discount the part you actually used

Right there, from the bench. The piece leaves inventory and its cost lands on the repair — done at the moment you remember which one you used, not at the end of the week.

  5. Capture the IMEI while you have it open

Save the IMEI from the bench and the device gets its own history that follows it forever, across visits and across owners.
