Profit detail, line by line

A monthly total tells you how you did. It does not tell you why. This report puts every single transaction next to its cost, so you can see which work pays and which work you are doing for free.

  1. Everything that made money, in one list

Repairs, sales, top-ups, calls and activations together. Most shops look at these in separate places and never see which one is actually carrying the month.

  2. Each line with its own cost

What you charged, what it cost you, what is left. This is where a repair with no cost stands out immediately — it shows a margin that is too good to be true, because it is.

  3. Your fixed expenses, spread across

Rent, power, salaries — divided across the period and subtracted. That is the difference between gross profit, which always looks fine, and what actually stayed in your pocket.

  4. Filter by month and by store

If you have more than one location, look at them separately. Two shops with the same revenue and different rent are two different businesses.

A line at zero cost is a warning Unless it was software or a diagnosis, that line is inflating your numbers. Fix the cost on it and the whole report gets more honest.
